Sean Dudley was a renaissance man. His interests were many and varied, ranging from music to film to wrestling and games, both tabletop and virtual. Sean was kind, giving to a fault, and had countless friends. He loved to cook and eat, and he was never shy about sharing his opinion of the quality of the food he prepared and consumed.

Sean left this world on January 23rd, 2022, but his memory lives on in the hearts of his many friends and loved ones.

It would be impossible to capture all of Sean's nuances and passions in a single blog or publication. With that in mind, we have chosen to focus this blog on his love of good food, particularly barbeque.

With No Filter BBQ, we intend to revisit our memories of Sean in the context of the food he loved. We'll visit restaurants that Sean frequented, as well as explore eateries that none of us have been to before. While we can only speak from our personal experiences as we explore the many and varied BBQ restaurants of North Carolina together, we know that Sean is always seated at the table with us.
